JEANETTE'S NOTES
Spring 2010
It's spring weather in the Buckle now. The blooms are absolutely beautiful. The regular
weekend artists continue to provide a full spectrum dining pleasure here at the
Cafe. We have had several special guests in the past few
weeks. We now have the Bell Buckle Cafe Banquet Hall, a
great place for large receptions and events. Over 5,000 square feet under
roof.
Call us and let us know of your event needs. A perfect location for
Wedding events. Our Grand Kids are really growing up and
they are part of our work team at the cafe. Here is the last big birfday
bash. click
We have small vases on each of our tables featuring a different "stem" presentation each week. Most weeks we feature blooms from cutting gardens here in town and in the winter, greens are often used. In the past weeks the brillant red schrub roses were are at peak ,and our tables are showing those flowers along with the fragrant lavender. We often use herbs in our table arrangements such as beebalm, lavender, chives, rosemary and various others that happen to be inp rime. We attempt to show some of the golden and red leaves in season but they are short lived.
Visitors continue to come to town from all over the U. S. and other parts of the world. In a couple of weeks the town will be filled with folks from far and wide-many will be runners who will compete in the RC Moonpie 10 mile run . Others will participate in the many activities of The Pie and Drink day. This is a fun day and you shouldn't missit. Come see us soon .J
